So, if like us, you’ve been using Google Hangouts for both home and work then you’ll need to know what’s going to happen when you finally make the switch. But one messaging product has stood the test of time and has lasted almost 7 years, Google Hangouts. With different features being rolled out to consumers and businesses at different times it’s easy to get confused. It’s fair to say that Google’s messaging strategy has been less than clear with different products available for consumers, such as Hangout, Duo, RCS and Chat, and businesses, such as Hangout, Hangout Chat and Hangout Meet, although these have recently been renamed to Google Chat and Google Meet.
